Patchwork Pastoral #8 by Caroline Said Lawrence

Part of a series, Patchwork Pastoral #9 by Caroline Said Lawrence is a playful interpretation of Malta's countryside scenes.

Ceklem Ceklem by Mark Schembri

Ceklem, Ceklem… by Mark Schembri depicts the traditional Maltese horse-drawn carriage, the Karozzin. Once part of everyday life, it is now most often enjoyed and photographed by visitors. The title refers to a Maltese song that also celebrates the Karozzin.

View from the Window by Mark Schembri

The artist, Mark Schembri observes the view of Fort St. Angelo and its surroundings from his window. In View from the Window artistic expression takes precedence over realism as the artist captures how the changes in the weather transform the mood of the entire panorama.

Il-Bajja tal-Blata l-Bajda by Steve Sciberras

l-Bajja tal-Blata l-Bajda (White Rocky Bay) depicts the quiet beauty of a well-known stretch of coastline as seen from St. Paul’s Island. The artist, Steve Sciberras captures the rugged Maltese shoreline in gentle light, where weathered cliffs meet the clear blue of the Mediterranean Sea.

Clouds Over Dwejra by Natasha Dadush

Clouds Over Dwejra painted en plein air in oils by Natasha Dadush, captures the changing light and movement on a windy day at Dwejra Bay in Gozo. Once home to the famous Azure Window, Dwejra remains a place of striking natural beauty.

Mdina Skyline by Kevin Sciberras

Mdina Skyline by Kevin Sciberras depicts Malta’s ancient walled city. Through this rhythmic play of colour and form, Sciberras captures not only the architecture of Mdina but also its serene, timeless atmosphere, creating a dialogue between history, memory, and modern abstraction.

Garden Gate by Marianne Ogden

Garden Gate, part of a series of decorative semi-abstracts by the late Marianne Ogden, is one of the few remaining mixed-media collages from her collection. It reflects her signature approach, a thoughtful blend of collage and hand-painting combining bold shapes and intricate detail.

Music by Bogdan Dyulgerov

Music by Bogdan Dyulgerov explores the point where sight and sound meet. In this work, shapes flow like musical notes, and hues vibrate with rhythm and harmony. The result is a composition that feels alive with movement, as if the painting itself could almost be heard.

Memories of the Future II by Bogdan Dyulgerov

Memories of the Future II, also by Bogdan Dyulgerov, gives form to the unseen, turning emotion and imagination into abstract shapes and layered textures. It invites the viewer to look beyond the visible, to sense distant memories and fragments of a future still taking shape.

Appunti-Sviolazzi by Rosette Bonello

Appunti-Sviolazzi by Rosette Bonello radiates with luminous fragments, as vibrant colours collide and dissolve into one another. The work evokes the rhythm of memories resurfacing, and emotions suspended between light and shadow, silence and vibration.
