Ceklem, Ceklem… depicts the traditional Maltese horse-drawn carriage, the Karozzin. Once part of everyday life, it is now most often enjoyed and photographed by visitors. Using an aerial view and techniques that suggest movement, the artist shows both his eye for detail and his use of colour, while leaving space for artistic freedom to guide the work. The title refers to a Maltese song that also celebrates the Karozzin.
