Guests attending the opening of Art at the Corinthia Palace

Were you there? Maybe you’re in the photos…

Artists, art-lovers and hotel guests came together recently for the opening of Art at the Corinthia Palace, a collective exhibition of contemporary fine art by Allura hosted at the Corinthia Palace Hotel.

In this blog post we would like to acknowledge and thank all those involved in making the show a success.

We are also happy to be able to share photos from the event.

The Corinthia Palace

Allura is grateful to the Corinthia Palace Hotel for the invitation to exhibit in the hotel foyer, and for setting it up as a functioning exhibition venue, by fitting new hanging rails and directional lighting, especially to host the show.

It is encouraging that the Corinthia Palace, arguably the most prestigious hotel in the country, has chosen to place local art front and centre at its flagship hotel and we are honoured that our artists should be the first to exhibit in this newly re-purposed space.

We would like to thank hotel management for having the vision to show off local talent in the hotel’s most visible area and for seeing the potential in this collaboration for it to be done well. We have no doubt that this will be the first of many art exhibitions in the new ‘lobby gallery’.

Thank you to Chris Mifsud of MPS for going above and beyond to support the exhibition and for dedicating his time, and that of his team, to supporting its coverage and promotion.

We are also grateful also to the Gasan Foundation for its support with the promotion of the show.
