British-born Laura Swale is a versatile visual artist, with a vibrant portfolio of both figurative and abstract work which includes traditional painting in oils, acrylics, watercolours and inks as well as printmaking, collage and mixed media. Laura is also an art writer with a background in art education and leadership, cultural event planning, gallery and curatorial work. She studied art at Bath Spa University in the UK and subsequently pursued her creative practice alongside a career teaching art, design, textiles and photography.
