Nadur Skyline features the home-town of the artist, rendered in broad, expressive strokes and a warm, vibrant colour palette, in a composition which subtly hints at the presence of man-made structures on the horizon, with the iconic Maltese church silhouetted against the sky.

The location is a favourite of the artist, who has painted the same scene before. A previous depiction of Nadur Skyline was painted by the artist for Allura’s Artist Secrets video series. Each episode of Artist Secrets begins the same way with a blank canvas, and follows the making of a new and previously unseen piece of original art as it is produced especially for the series.
