The valley of Wied Qirda, a large gorge south of Qormi and north of Siggiewi is off limits to cars and winds through Malta for several kilometres. The painting was completed on location and features a traditional countryside building by a lane. This piece was mainly completed using the realistic technique with some semi abstract depiction of vegetation in the foreground and background.
