Villa Cimbrone and it's Terrazza dell'Infinito, a mountainside terrace hundreds of metres above the Amalfi coastline in Italy offers breath-taking views of the entire coastline. This painting was developed in studio from a site visit and depicts the entrance to the terrace and the garden path leading to it. Painted with the watercolour technique, it emphasises the warmth of the summer day on the garden grounds.
