This watercolour artwork depicts part of the ruined parish church in Siggiewi. The building was abandoned and partially demolished after a new parish church with the same dedication was built elsewhere in the village in the late 17th century. In the 2000s restoration work started on the ruins and eventually the site will be opened to the public.
