It has been the pinnacle of nightlife since the 19th century, a place where different nationalities and classes mingled, and live music played from the street’s many venues. Valletta, Strait Street, Malta was painted in watercolour on location. The artist captures the fine architecture and the lively atmosphere on a summer morning during rush hour.
